Girls Golf: Tracy golfers keep improving

Tracy High’s golfers (3-1) continue to improve their scores in advance of league play, beating Stagg High of Stockton 226-279 on Tuesday, Sept. 4, during a match at Old River Golf Course.

Leading the way for Tracy was Shelby Devlin, with a score of 42 on the par-36 course. Other scores for Tracy included Annie Fox, 44, Kristen Bas and Rachel Haro, 46, Alee Balanon, 48, and Amanda Vasquez, 54.



Pitman 280, Tracy 296

Tracy High’s golfers were outscored for the first time this year in a pre-league match against Pitman of Turlock at Stevinson Ranch Golf Course on Thursday, Aug. 30. Alee Balanon was Tracy’s top golfer with a score of 55 on the par-36 course. Other Tracy scores included Annie Fox, 57, Kirsten Bas, 57, Rachel Haro, 60, Amanda Vasquez, 67, and Peyton Davis, 73.



Kimball: 243, Sierra: 253

Kimball High’s girls (2-0 VOL) won their second Valley Oak League match on Thursday, Aug. 30, at Old River Golf Course over the Timberwolves from Sierra High of Manteca. Lydia Nolen shot 39 on the par-36 course. Other scores for Kimball were:Taylor Honnoll 46, Maya Crooms 47, Lilly Craig 48, Jullianna Goulding 63 and Madison Hinds 63.
