Mr. Walker, a retiree, was born July 10, 1938, in Sunnyside, Wash., and had lived in Tracy for 50 years. He bowled frequently at Tracy Bowl (now West Valley Bowl) and Yosemite Bowl.
Survivors include his wife, Pat Walker of Empire; eight children, Jimmie Walker, and spouse, James, of Beaver Dam, Wis., June Mustain, and her husband, Eddie, of Manteca, Joe Walker, and his wife, Heather, of Nampa, Idaho, Kitty Smith, and her husband, Lymann, of Tracy, Danny Walker, and his wife, Judy, of Tracy, Crystal Nice of Redding, Yvonne Buechner, and her husband, Arnold, of Marguard, Mo., and Diane Marshall, and her husband, Chris, of Marguard.
Also surviving are 18 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Harold and Mabel Walker; four siblings, Clayton Walker, Hillmer Walker, Joe Walker and Martha Simpson, and her husband, Marty; and one grandchild.
Wednesday’s service will begin at 10 a.m. at Lakewood Memorial Park, 900 Santa Fe Ave., in Hughson, followed by private family burial in Tracy Cemetery. A celebration of Mr. Walker’s life is planned that afternoon at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Hank Granados, 155 Mount Oso St.
