A view of the Grand Theatre Center for the Arts’ façade claimed the prize at Tracy Camera Club’s August meeting. Club member Linda Gulick captured the photograph at 9 p.m. using a tripod and a Canon 60D (ISO 100, 25 mm, f/13 for 1.5 seconds). The image was processed in Lightroom using Topaz plugins. Gulick said she got serious about photography four years ago when, fed up with point-and-shoot cameras, she bought a Canon Digital Rebel at a big-box store. She works as a nurse case manager at Sutter Tracy Community Hospital. Tracy Camera Club’s next meeting will begin at 7 p.m. Sept. 13, a Thursday, on the second floor of the Grand Theatre Center for the Arts, 715 Central Ave. For information: Mickey McGuire, 835-6758 or elmicky@coreyfro.com.
