Adrian asked Amy to marry him Nov. 26, 2011, over a mimosa brunch he prepared. As the Train song “Marry Me” played, he called over one of the couple’s four dogs, Gus Gus, who had a ring tied around his neck on a ribbon, and proposed on one knee.
Amy, a lifelong Tracy resident, is a 2002 graduate of West High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in criminology from California State University, Fresno, in 2005. She works as a security specialist at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory.
The parents of the bride-to-be are Cynthia Kelley-Clark, and her husband, Kevin Clark, of Tracy, and Todd DeWane of Manteca. Her sister, Brooke DeWane, also lives in Tracy. Amy is the granddaughter of the late James and Janel Kelley of Tracy and the late Harriet Church of Banta.
A.J. moved to Tracy in eighth grade and graduated from West High School in 2005. He is a commercial floor installer for B.T. Mancini Co. Inc. of Milpitas.
His parents are Dawn Carr-Sioxson, and her husband, Spencer Sioxson, of Tracy and Noel Jimenez of San Jose. He has eight siblings, Jazmin Sioxson of Tracy, Melissa Lagoc of Lathrop and Katrina Jimenez, Melanie Jimenez, Jade Jimenez, Justin Jimenez, Nick Jimenez and Kayleen Jimenez, all of San Jose; and four stepsiblings, Jady Ramirez, Jeremy Ramirez and Ruben Sioxson, all of Elk Grove, and Carmelyn Sioxson of Sacramento. A.J. is the grandson of Vincenta Sioxson of San Jose, Allan and Yvonne Carr of Castro Valley and the late Librada Jimenez of San Jose. His great-grandmothers Nora Carr and Ivy Whitby live in Newcastle, England.
Amy’s maid of honor is Casi Burcham of Tracy, and A.J.’s best man is Patrick Springer of Tracy.
Bridesmaids are Brooke DeWane, Jazmin Sioxson and Jessica Guillen, all of Tracy, Crystal Petersen of Manteca and Jessi Bowers of Livermore.
Groomsmen are Ruben Sioxson of Elk Grove, Brandon Springer, Coleman Paiva and Matt Furtado, all of Tracy, and James Petersen of Manteca.
A.J.’s goddaughter, Jadyn Ramirez of Elk Grove, will be flower girl, and Kaeden Springer of Tracy will be ring bearer.
