Snuppy, 1, a wire-haired Jack Russell terrier mix, was found as a stray and taken in by Animal Rescue of Tracy. Renamed by a toddler member of his foster family, he eagerly accepts the attention of children and bears dress-up games involving tiaras and princess costumes with great patience. Snuppy has a microchip and is housetrained, crate trained, neutered and current on vaccines. Animal Rescue of Tracy is a nonprofit, all-volunteer rescue group that has adoption fairs for dogs and cats from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays and noon to 4 p.m. Sundays at the West Valley Mall. The group is also accepting donations for its second yard sale, to be scheduled in September. Proceeds will pay for veterinary services and basic care for rescued animals. Donations can be dropped off during weekend adoption fairs. For information: 642-4324 or www.animalrescuetracy.org.
