Services will be Aug. 10 for Alice Obad, 82, a former longtime Tracy resident who died Tuesday, July 31, at Windsor Elmhaven Care Center in Stockton.

Ms. Obad was born April 1, 1930, in Hollister and lived in Tracy for 58 years before moving to the Stockton care center.

She was a graduate of Tracy High School and worked 30 years in quality control at the H.J. Heinz Co. cannery.

Ms. Obad was a member of Calvary Church of Manteca, the Red Hat Society and Beta Sigma Phi International.

Survivors include three children, Donald Lamar Obad of The Dalles, Ore., Stephen Michael Obad, and his wife, Jean, of Merced, and Jami A. Perez, and her husband, Rey, of Stockton; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will begin at 10:30 a.m. Aug. 10 at Hotchkiss Mortuary, 5 W. Highland Ave.
