They were introduced by friends while Stephanie was a student at Union University in Jackson, Tenn.
The bride is the daughter of Melody and Wayne Ashworth of Nashville and Ronnie and Leah Clemons of Murfreesboro, Tenn. She teaches second grade at Station Camp Elementary School in Hendersonville, Tenn.
The groom is the son of Keith and Colleen Watkins of Tracy and brother of Melissa M. Watkins of Anaheim. He graduated from West High School in 2005 and from William Jessup University of Rocklin in 2011. With degrees in liberal and Biblical studies, Douglas teaches in the Metro-Nashville School District.
The newlyweds honeymooned in the Caribbean and have made their home together in Gallatin, Tenn.
