Fiesta queen competitors sought for September

Thursday, July 26, is the deadline for entries in four queen contests for the 16th of September Mexican Independence Day fiesta in Tracy.

Entries are being sought for 16th of September Queen and Miss Tracy Latina for girls in high school. Miss Junior Tracy Latina will be chosen from girls in sixth through eighth grades. Little Miss Tracy Latina contestants will be girls in third through fifth grades.

Entry fee for each of the four queen contests is $25. Winners will take part in the 16th of September fiesta scheduled for Sept. 15, a Saturday, in McDonald Park.

The queen contests and the fiesta are sponsored by the South Side Community Organization.
