This playful 4½-month-old pup, a terrier-Chihuahua mix, loves chasing his toys. Rescuers report that he plays nicely with other dogs and is having success with his housetraining. He had his first shots and will be neutered and microchipped before adoption. Animal Rescue of Tracy is a nonprofit, all-volunteer rescue group that has adoption fairs for dogs and cats from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays and noon to 4 p.m. Sundays at the West Valley Mall. The rescue group is looking for donations of puppy training pads and clumping cat litter, which can be dropped off during weekend pet fairs. For information: 642-4324 or www.animalrescuetracy.org.
