Vesta Kendrick

Services were Wednesday, June 27, for Tracy native Vesta Kendrick, 64, who died of cancer June 21 at her home.

She was born Nov. 27, 1947, at San Joaquin General Hospital in French Camp.

Ms. Kendrick, a lifelong resident of Tracy, retired after working at the local defense depot and St. Mark’s Episcopal Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Michelle Kendrick of Tracy; a sister, Alice Mayer of Lodi; two aunts and two uncles; and a niece and two nephews.

Her parents, Hugh and Bonnie Perkins, preceded her in death.

A memorial took place Wednesday at Grace Church, 1330 N. Tracy Blvd. Arrangements were handled by Parkview Cemetery & Funeral Home, 3661 E. French Camp Road, in Manteca.
