Services will be Saturday, June 23, for Charles Perry Jr., 58, of Tracy, who died of cardiac arrest Friday, June 15, in a Modesto hospital.

Mr. Perry was born Oct. 3, 1953, in Birmingham, Ala., and had lived in Tracy eight years. He worked as a pest control technician for Terminex.

Survivors include his wife, Denetris “Dee” Perry of Tracy; five children, Julie Perry and Jeremiah Perry, both of Santa Clara, and Kaliaha Smith, LaShanna Smith and Stephen Smith, all of San Francisco; two siblings, Michael Perry of Fremont and Debra Perry of Palo Alto; four grandchildren; and many other relatives.

Preceding him in death were one son, Charles “Chuck” Perry III; and his parents, Charles Perry Sr. and Althea Perry.

Saturday’s service will begin at 11 a.m. at Tracy Community Church, 1790 Sequoia Blvd. Dan Scale Funeral Services of Pittsburg is handling arrangements.
