He man told police he was going to jump out of his girlfriend’s vehicle but lost his grip before he was ready, causing him to fall to the ground while she was driving at about 25 mph. He told police that he was “playing around” and that his girlfriend didn’t know he was going to jump out.
Police took no report at the request of his mother.
Tracy police received 157 calls for service Monday, June 18. The following items are a sample of those calls:
12:28 a.m.: A computer was stolen from an apartment at Almondwood Apartments, 525 Peerless Way. The victim told police that the alleged thief cut out a window screen to get inside.
6:45 a.m.: Police issued a warning to man who was rummaging through trash cans at a residence on the 400 block of Charlemagne Lane.
10:46 a.m.: A license plate was reported stolen off a vehicle that was parked on the 3200 block of Strawberry Place.
1:37 p.m.: A former resident of the 1200 block of Lincoln Boulevard reported that his possessions were sold by other people living there. The complainant’s ex-girlfriend told police that the man took all his property when he moved out two days before the allegations.
10 p.m.: A homeowner on the 1200 block of Dove Drive complained that an unknown person kept ringing her doorbell and knocking on her door before running away. Police provided an extra patrol in the area.
11:06 p.m.: Police were unable to find about 10 teenagers whom a homeowner allegedly overheard talking about vandalizing private property on the 1300 block of Dove Drive. When the homeowner confronted the teenagers before police arrived, they ran toward the nearby Hirsch Elementary School.
