Services will be Thursday, June 21, for Eligio Hernandez Rodriguez Jr., 66, a retired defense depot employee, who died Wednesday, June 13, in Tracy.

Mr. Rodriguez, born June 23, 1945, had lived in Tracy since 1969. He worked 36 years as a rigger and packer at Tracy Defense Depot.

Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Guadalupe D. Rodriguez of Tracy; five children, Martha Hernandez of Manteca and Elizabeth Chavez, Mary Ann Rodriguez, Jesus Rodriguez and Esperanza Rodriguez, all of Tracy; four siblings, Benita Virrey, Steven Rodriguez and Irene Yanez, all of Stockton, and Mary Ann Shipman of Modesto; and six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Eligio F. and Mary H. Rodriguez.

Thursday’s service will begin at 11 a.m. at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, 163 W. Eaton Ave., followed by burial in Tracy Cemetery, 600 E. Schulte Road. A rosary will begin at 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 20, at Fry Memorial Chapel, 550 S. Central Ave.
