Kimball High School celebrated the school's first graduating senior class in what was a defining moment of accomplishment for students, school administrators and teachers.

Several graduating seniors described the Class of 2012 as one defined by close relationships, community service and academic and sporting success.

Valedictorian Jochebed Ramat and salutatorian Rebekah Smith both spoke during the ceremony. They each encouraged their classmates to continue growing as role models and to seize opportunities as they arise in the future.

Diplomas were handed out to 323 students during the ceremony, which began at 10 a.m. at the school's Don Nicholson Stadium.

For the full graduation story, read the Friday, June 8, edition of the Tracy Press.
