According to Elizabeth Brady Eash, the community is off to a strong start. Nominations began May 1, and the first round of voting will run through 5 p.m. June 13 to narrow the field to 15 finalists.
The contest sponsor, PetSafe, will award a $100,000 grand prize and two $25,000 prizes Aug. 3 to the top vote-getters.
To support Mountain House, folks can create a log-in and password and vote once each day through www.petsafe.net and once via Facebook.
