A woman called police and told them she was carjacked at Taco Bell, 2320 N. Tracy Blvd., by two teenage boys at 9:09 p.m. Thursday, May 17. She said she stopped in the parking lot after getting lost looking for a friend’s house, and a teenage boy started flirting with her. He then pulled out a gun, she said, pointed it at her shoulder and told her to get out of the car. She said she got a cab and went back to where she lives in Alameda and called police a couple of hours later. When police tried to contact her for further information, she said she didn’t have any info on the car or have time to talk to them. She said she would call when she was ready.

Tracy police received 162 calls for service Thursday, May 17. The following is a sample of those calls.

3:28 a.m.: A woman told police through a translator that someone kept knocking on her bedroom window on the 200 block of East Third Street. Police were unable to locate anyone.

4:17 a.m.: Police arrested a 23-year-old woman on suspicion of being drunk in public on the 1700 block of Bristol Lane. The arrest occurred after a caller reported finding a woman who didn’t seem to know her own name.

8:27 a.m.: A woman said someone stole her purse off her front porch on the 1700 block of Alegre Drive.

9:20 a.m.: A woman said someone stole prescription drugs from her house on the 200 block of East Emerson Avenue. She suspected her neighbor.

9:26 a.m.: A student was cited and released for a theft charge at Kimball High School, 3200 Jaguar Run.

10:04 a.m.: A video game player was reported stolen following a home burglary on the 100 block of A Street.

10:49 a.m.: Police arrested a man on suspicion of domestic violence and robbery in central Tracy. The arrest occurred after a woman said her roommate and boyfriend were in an argument. He was booked into San Joaquin County Jail in French Camp.

12:01 p.m.: Police arrested two men, ages 24 and 22, for a suspected reckless driving incident near Linne Road and MacArthur Drive. The men were arrested after a caller reported two people running away from a car that had crashed into a fence. Police talked to a woman who told them her son took her car without her permission, and she didn’t want to press charges.

1:36 p.m.: Police arrested a 42-year-old man for an outstanding warrant after he was stopped for alleged petty theft at JC Penny, 3100 Naglee Road. He was booked into county jail.

1:46 p.m.: A store clerk reported a woman with tattoos on her face stole a whole display table of panties at Victoria Secret, 3200 Naglee Road.

3:22 p.m.: A caller reported seeing a man on a motorcycle stopping traffic near Corral Hollow and Schulte roads. He said the man stopped two other vehicles earlier and thought he might be impersonating an officer. He was gone before police arrived.

3:54 p.m.: A man called police to complain that a landscaper doing work on the 200 block of South Central Avenue was blowing debris into his yard. They were gone before police arrived.

5:06 p.m.: A home burglary was reported on the 300 block of Ormonde Street. The caller said it appeared someone tried to take a television out of a broken window. Police are investigating.

6:09 p.m.: Police are investigating possible child abuse in southern Tracy.

7:51 p.m.: A woman told police that a man claiming to work for Microsoft called her on the 1600 block of Waverly Court. She said he told her someone might have hacked into her computer and he was going to log into it to make sure it was OK. She said she suspected he was trying to steal her personal information.

8:12 p.m.: A caller told police he saw a car with writing on the back window that said “Help me I’m being kidnapped.” Police checked the residence where the car was parked on the 100 block of east Whittier Avenue and found it was a practical joke.

9:38 p.m.: A caller reported seeing a man taking appliances from a building on the 200 block of East Larch Road. Police are investigating.

11:10 p.m.: A woman called to report she found her attic open on the 1200 block of Cedar Glen Court, and she was afraid someone was up there. Police found no one.

11:41 p.m.: Two callers reported hearing gunshots near Castle Court and Clover Road. Police were unable to find the noise’s cause.
