Born Nov. 7, 1943 in San Antonio, Texas, Mr. Garza, 68, worked as a handyman for Kenko Utilities and Laura Scudders.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Frances Garza of Tracy; two sons, Benny Garza and Michael Garza, both of Tracy; three siblings, Juan Garza of Tracy and Elva Asquier and Lidia Lopez, both of Stockton; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Pedro and Ramona Garza; and a brother, Pedro Garza Jr.
Tuesday’s Mass will begin at 10 a.m. at St. John Bosco Roman Catholic Church, 1601 Imperial Ave., in Modesto. A vigil will begin at 7 p.m. Monday at Fry Memorial Chapel, 550 S.
