Tracy police received 602 calls for service Friday, May 11 through Monday, May 14. The following is a sample of those calls.
12:56 a.m.: Police arrested a 22-year-old man for an outstanding warrant on the 2600 block of Corral Hollow Road. The warrant included a violation for being an unlicensed driver. He was cited and released.
2:13 a.m.: A couple called to report a man in their backyard on the 400 block of Hawthorne Drive. The wife told police it sounded like the man was vomiting, and then was banging on the back door. Police requested a parole contact for the man.
4:36 a.m.: A Honda Civic was reported stolen from the Fairfield Inn, 2410 Naglee Road.
9:57 a.m.: A car was broken into on the 1700 block of Chartwell Lane.
10:33 a.m.: A dozen ducks, including ducklings, were found in a backyard pool on the 2400 block of Garazi Street.
11:30 a.m.: Police arrested two women, ages 25 and 24, for theft at Walmart, 3010 W. Grant Line Road. They were both booked into San Joaquin County Jail in French Camp.
1:19 p.m.: Police arrested a 24-year-old woman for an outstanding theft warrant on the 1500 block of Cypress Drive. She was also charged with theft before being booked into county jail.
1:25 p.m.: A driver reported three small dogs running in and out of the street on the 1400 block of Autumn Lane. She told police she saw the dog’s owner, and he told her he didn’t want them anyway and that she should learn how to drive. She said he started yelling at her when she told him to take the dogs to the pound. Police issued the dog owner a citation.
2:55 p.m.: A woman told police an ice cream vendor at McKinley School, 800 W. Carlton Way, was selling ice cream on credit and charging interest. She told police she would call when she sees him again.
5:38 p.m.: A hospital official called to report a teen was at Kaiser for facial injuries, including a broken nose and possibly a broken jaw, from a fight with another student at Millennium High, 51 E. Beverly Place. Police spoke to the victim’s mother and she said it was a mutual fight and her daughter didn’t sustain any injuries. Police are investigating.
5:41 p.m.: A shotgun was reportedly stolen during a home burglary on the 1600 block of Eastlake Circle. Police are investigating.
6:11 p.m.: A caller reported a pit bull that was injured when it jumped out of a truck and was dragged near Briar and Clover roads. The caller said the dog was dragged for some time before it broke loose. The dog appeared to have head and leg injuries.
7:18 p.m.: A caller reported a cat had its leg severed after it was hit by a car on the 2900 block of Misty Meadows Drive. The cat was impounded.
9:01 p.m.: A caller reported a drunken man sleeping in his yard on the 800 block of Palm Circle. The man was picked up by a friend.
11:09 p.m.: A woman told police a man stole her car keys and drove her car from the 2900 block of MacArthur Drive to a levee. She said he stole her GPS, radar detector and bags of items from the car. She said a friend got the keys back from the man and she was able to get her car. Police are investigating.
12:01 a.m.: A worker at the Shamrock, 117 W. 11th St., told police three men with pit bulls were blocking the entrance to the bar after they were told to leave.
1:54 a.m.: Police arrested a drunken man near McDonald’s, 1820 W. 11th St., after a caller reported a stumbling man carrying a 40-ounce bottle of beer.
2:05 a.m.: A caller reported hearing a man screaming near Finale Way and Holly Drive. Police checked and found the man had entered a residence, started a fight with the occupants and was told to leave. He was seen yelling as he left the house.
7:56 a.m.: Part of a car bumper was found near a damaged tree and fence near Tracy Boulevard and Valpico Road.
4:10 p.m.: Police arrested a 23-year-old man for outstanding warrants near Holly Drive and Kavanagh Avenue. After police stopped the car he was traveling in, they discovered a woman with blood on her, and an ambulance was called to assist with her torn stitches from an unrelated incident.
4:50 p.m.: A man called to report a road rage after another driver threatened him and punched his car window on the 3400 block of North Tracy Boulevard. The aggressor drove away before police arrived.
6:33 p.m.: Police issued a citation on the 900 block of Gotland Court after a caller reported a live band playing in the area.
7:04 p.m.: Police arrested a 47-year-old man for theft at Walmart, 3010 W. Grant Line Road, after he reportedly tried to take a vacuum.
7:51 p.m.: A woman told police she saw a man looking into her dining room window on the 100 block of Chanelle Court. She said he left after she let her dog out. Police are investigating.
8:36 p.m.: A caller reported his 14-year-old son was assaulted by another teen at Jack Fisher Park on the 500 block of Tennis Lane. Police talked to the victim and he told them he didn’t want to press charges.
9:30 p.m.: A caller reported someone broke into his house and vandalized his car in the garage on the 1700 block of Lavelle Smith Drive. Police are investigating.
11:35 p.m.: Police arrested a teen after he threatened to burn down his house on the 4400 block of Glenbrook Drive.
12:38 a.m.: A 1972 Chevy Monte Carlo was reported stolen on the 1400 block of Parker Avenue. Police are investigating.
7:30 a.m.: A caller reported someone broke his brother-in-law’s rear back car window on the 1200 block of Lincoln Boulevard. He said someone also sprayed graffiti on the house. Police are investigating.
7:56 a.m.: A car was egged on the 200 block of Ferdinand Street. Police checked and found a number of cars had been egged in the area.
9:13 a.m.: A caller reported someone broke into his house on the 300 block of Golden Leaf Court.
10:23 a.m.: Police issued a warning to a man on the 1500 block of Tamarisk Lane after he was seen taking food items that had been left for the postal carrier for a food drive.
10:23 a.m.: A caller reported finding a baby possum inside his empty spa on the 2700 block of Rhett Court. Animal control took the animal.
10:53 a.m.: A store clerk at Parker Ave Market, 1656 Parker Ave., called to report graffiti on his business wall.
1:30 p.m.: A caller reported a suspicious brown bag stapled shut next to a community mailbox on the 1500 block of Locust Drive. Police found it was canned goods left for a food drive.
2:01 p.m.: A caller reported a suspicious looking one-armed man sitting under a tree on the 2100 block of Alfred George Court.
5:14 p.m.: A caller reported someone went into his backyard and tore down his gutters and broke his sprinkler heads on the 100 block of West Beverly Place. He said he heard someone in his yard and then a woman yelling, “Hurry up because the police are going to be here soon.” He said he also saw an unknown SUV parked in front of his house.
5:16 p.m.: A business clerk called to report three juveniles throwing rocks at his back door at Mandarin Villa Restaurant, 2501 N. Tracy Blvd. They were gone before police arrived.
6:31 p.m.: Police arrested a 44-year-old woman for an outstanding warrant following a traffic stop near the 100 block of Portola Way.
7:18 p.m.: A caller reported children shooting BB guns at water bottles near Soto Court and Thelma Loop. They were gone before police arrived.
8:21 p.m.: A store clerk called to report two women stole $2,600 worth of sunglasses from the Sunglass Hut at 3200 Naglee Road.
10:19 p.m.: A caller reported seeing a car drive into a brick wall near Tracy Boulevard and Valpico Road. The caller said woman driving the car left the scene and drove over a median before driving away. Police are investigating.
10:47 p.m.: Police issued a warning at a large party attended by about 200 people on the 2500 block of Storey Court.
11:28 p.m.: A caller reported a man pulled out a gun and fired two rounds near the Portuguese Hall, 430 W. Ninth St. The caller said the man left in a newer Dodge Charger.
2:51 a.m.: Police responded to an argument between father and son on the 900 block of Elysian Court. The father allegedly pointed a handgun at the son. He admitted to carrying a gun but told police that he had it for protection and was not threatening to use it against his son.
10:51 a.m.: A 28-year-old man was arrested on two outstanding warrants from Merced County. Police discovered the warrants during a traffic stop on the 330 block of North Tracy Boulevard. A second person was cited and released during the stop.
12:08 p.m.: Green Honda Civic with Hawaiian flowers on the trunk was reportedly stolen from Tracy Convalescent Hospital, 545 W. Beverley Place. Police are investigating.
1:57 p.m.: Three males were seen allegedly driving in the area of the 800 block of Christy Court drinking alcohol and smoking drugs. Police located the men at a nearby park and arrested a 19-year-old male for an outstanding warrant in Oakdale.
3:24 p.m.: A group of people attacked the driver of a gray Honda Accord at the intersection of East Street and Hollywood Avenue. The alleged attackers and victim were gone when police arrived.
10:02 p.m.: Six people were seen running through the campus of Traina School, 4256 Windsong Drive. The group was reportedly dropped off at the school by a white van. Police didn’t locate anyone during a search of the campus.
11:26 p.m.: Loud music was reported at a residence on the 2900 block of Frank Brown Drive. The music had ceased by the time police arrived.
