Tracy police responded to 163 calls for service Thursday, May 10. The following is a sample of those calls.
2:19 a.m.: Police gave a warning to a man who was allowing his dog to bother customers outside 7-Elven, 2360 W. Grant Line Road.
10:44 a.m.: A woman was arrested near Tracy Park Apartments, 2800 N. Tracy Blvd., and taken to San Joaquin County Jail in French Camp on an outstanding warrant.
12:32 p.m.: Bags of foul-smelling trash were discovered by a city crew at Galli Family Park, 2341 W. Lowell Ave. Crews said that the contents appeared to be “some type of remains,” and that bags were found at several park trash cans within the city.
1:45 p.m.: Graffiti was reported near Holly Drive and Interstate 205 on a soundwall.
4:17 p.m.: A pedestrian stop on the 400 block of West Kavanagh Avenue resulted in an arrest when police found the man had several outstanding warrants.
5:42 p.m.: A caller on the 500 block of Central Avenue reported a 1991 blue Toyota Camry was stolen.
6:11 p.m.: Security at Macy’s, 3400 Naglee Road, detained a woman on suspicion of shoplifting. She was arrested by police.
9:18 p.m.: A report of gunshots in northern Tracy could have been fireworks, police said, after finding no evidence of a shooting.
10:53 p.m.: A guest at Texas Roadhouse, 2422 Naglee Road, was reportedly throwing food at and making threats against a woman he was seen eating with. Though he was only served one beer at the restaurant, the caller said, the man’s dining companion said he had probably been drinking, and she didn’t want to press charges.
