MariaTeresa Cornejo and Daniel Lara of Sacramento were married July 22, 2011, at Carvalho Family Winery in Clarksburg.

The bride, daughter of Olga Aragon and Ramon Cornejo of Tracy, grew up in Tracy and graduated from Tracy High School in 1999.

She works as an auditor for the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services and holds an accounting degree from California State University, Sacramento.

Her siblings are Jessica Aragon of Hattiesburg, Miss., Gabriel Aragon of Austin, Texas, Alexandra Cornejo of Sacramento, and Ramon Alexander Cornejo and Maximiliano Cornejo, both of Tracy.

The groom has a bachelor’s degree in sports medicine and a doctorate in physical therapy from University of the Pacific and works at Delta Physical Therapy. He is the son of Gary and Kathy Lara of Manteca and graduated from Sierra High School in 2000. His sister, Melanie Janssens, lives in Oakdale, and his grandparents are William and Shirley Cuneo of Manteca.

Bob Waegell officiated the wedding ceremony. MariaTeresa’s maid of honor was her sister Alexandra Cornejo, and her bridesmaids were her sister Jessica Aragon, Kellie Culbertson of Ripon and Daniel’s sister Melanie Janssens.

Daniel’s best man was Albert Carrasco of Stockton, and his groomsmen were Curtis Culbertson of Ripon, Carl Lindberg of Chicago and MariaTeresa’s brother Gabriel Aragon. Her brothers Ramon Alexander and Maximiliano Cornejo were ringbearers.

The couple honeymooned on Mexico’s Riviera Maya, and make their home together in Sacramento.
