Jesse, a blue merle Australian shepherd mix with one blue eye, is a good-natured, shy 2-year-old. He weighs about 60 pounds and has been neutered and vaccinated. New things tend to spook him, and rescuers recommend patience and socialization to help him move past his fears. Jesse should go to a home without cats and with no children younger than 12. People for Pets has several other dogs ready for adoption and hosts adoption fairs between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Saturdays at PetSmart, 2477 N. Naglee Road. For information: 933-6274 or inquiries@peopleforpets.com.

I can tell just by looking at Jesse that he is a good dog that needs a caring owner. I'm sure there is someone out there with the right heart for Jesse. Wish I could adopt them all.
