This 6-month-old Chihuahua mix likes to run and play or sit quietly in a friend’s arms. Suki plays well with other dogs and cats during supervised playtime and has been successful with children who understand to be quiet and gentle while getting acquainted. She is spayed, microchipped and current on her vaccines. Rescuers have begun her house training, but she will need frequent, regular trips outside to complete her training. Animal Rescue of Tracy is a nonprofit, all-volunteer rescue group that has pet adoption fairs for dogs and cats from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays and noon to 4 p.m. Sundays at the West Valley Mall. In addition, a Pet Lovers’ Expo on May 19, the first sponsored by Animal Rescue of Tracy, will fill the Target wing of the West Valley Mall with pet-related exhibits and vendors from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. For information: 642-4324 or www.animalrescuetracy.org.
