Tracy police received 165 calls for service Wednesday, April 25. The following is a sample of those calls.
12:29 a.m.: Gunshots were reported on the 1200 block of Montgomery Lane. Police checked the area, and the caller said it could have been fireworks.
10:06 a.m.: Police counseled two students at Monte Vista Middle School, 751 W. Lowell Ave., for an ongoing problem. They were advised of the consequences of their actions if it continued, and they agreed to stay away from each other.
10:19 a.m.: A TJ 2006 trailer was reported stolen from the Park & Ride, 2650 Naglee Road.
11:53 a.m.: The theft of a cellphone was supposedly captured on video at World Page Wireless at 2 W. 11th St. The clerk called the customer and advised him to return the phone or pay for it, and the customer reportedly refused. The clerk told police they wanted to try and work out the problem before involving police. The man called the store at 2:44 p.m. and advised that he would bring in a money order on Sunday to start payment on the phone. The man also told the clerk that he sold the phone he stole.
12:25 p.m.: A clerk at Queen Bee Nail & Spa, 2630 S. Tracy Blvd., said a customer was intoxicated. She said the woman was yelling across the salon.
12:37 p.m.: A woman told police someone cut the wires to her cable and phone box on the 2900 block of MacArthur Drive. Police checked and found the wires were popped out and not cut.
1:47 p.m.: A man was seen jumping a retaining wall with items on the 3400 block of Mary Jean Lane. Police were unable to find him.
3:03 p.m.: Police arrested a 24-year-old man for outstanding warrants on the 1400 block of Cottonwood Drive. One of the warrants was for theft.
3:24 p.m.: A man who was refused business at CA Check Cashing, 701 W. 11th St., spit on their windows and floors. The clerk said he wanted the incident documented in case the man came back.
6:30 p.m.: Police arrested a 34-year-old man on suspicion of being drunk in public near Baskin Robbins, 965 S. Tracy Blvd. He was booked into San Joaquin County Jail in French Camp.
10:11 p.m.: Police arrested a 63-year-old man for an outstanding drug-related warrant following a traffic stop near 11th and East streets.
11:20 p.m.: Police arrested a 27-year-old man for an outstanding warrant on the 100 block of Yosemite Drive after a caller reported his two adult sons were fighting.
11:28 p.m.: A woman reported her car was stolen at the Great Plate, 714 N. Central Ave., but police found the woman’s family had taken the car.
