Soccer: Tracy ties Lincoln

Tracy High’s soccer team held onto first place in the San Joaquin Athletic Association with a 3-3 tie at Lincoln High on Monday, April 23.

It’s still a comfortable lead in the league standings as Tracy beat Lincoln 4-3 on April 11 in the first round of SJAA play.

Cailie Charyez scored two goals for Tracy with assists from Kaitlyn Crone and Bria Outland, and Autumn Bolton scored on a pass from Kellie Piazza.

It puts Tracy at 12-2-2 overall and 5-0-2 in league. Lincoln is 4-1-2 in the SJAA.

Tracy’s freshman-sophomore girls beat Lincoln 3-0 on Monday. Kelly Brooks, Daesha Brown and Shayla Simonich all scored goals for Tracy, which is now 16-0 overall and 7-0 in the SJAA.
