Golf: Bulldogs move to 8-0 in SJAA

Tracy High’s golfers moved to 8-0 in the San Joaquin Athletic Association and 9-2 overall with a 221-238 win over Lincoln on Thursday, April 19, at Brookside Country Club in Stockton.

For Tracy, Giovanni Manguray shot 42 on the par-36 course, Alec Stroup and Shivam Swami both shot 43, Robert Erler shot 45, Talon Simmons fired a 48 and Anthony Napoli carded a 52.



Stagg 261, West 287

Stagg High’s golfers outshot West on at Old River Golf Course, 261-287, on Thursday, April 19.

It puts West at 2-7 in the Tri-City Athletic League, and Stagg at 5-3 in the TCAL.

Nick Carrera shot 52 on the par-36 course for the Wolf Pack, Austin Smith shot 53; Bryce Noegel, 57; Garrett Morris, 58; Huruy Zeratsion, 67; and Cody Correia, 71.
