West High FFA students to sell seedlings

Young vegetable, herb and flowering plants grown by West High School FFA members will be sold today and next weekend at the school garden, 1775 W. Lowell Ave.

The sale runs from 3 to 5 p.m. today, April 20, and Friday, April 27, and from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 28.

Peppers, tomatoes and herbs are priced at $1.50 each, and flowers will go for $1.50 per six pack.

Multiple varieties of each type of plant will be available, all grown by students in the agriculture department.

The garden can be reached from the staff entrance on the eastern side of the school, near the soccer fields.

Genealogical society to meet next week

Members of Tracy Area Genealogical Society will gather for their monthly meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 25, at the TAGS library at 1141 Adam St.

Those who attend are invited to share their “breaking brick wall” success stories.

Woman’s Club plans to welcome officers

Officers will be sworn in when the Tracy Woman’s Club meets at 11 a.m. May 4 at the Tracy Elks Lodge, 6400 W. 11th St.

Lunch reservations must be made by May 2. Newcomers are welcome.

Tracy Tea Party announces May meeting

The next regular meeting of Tracy Tea Party Patriots will be from 6 to 8 p.m. May 11 in the council chambers at Tracy City Hall, 333 Civic Center Plaza.
