These 2½-month-old kittens have been neutered and had their first vaccines, and they’re ready to be adopted. Jazz and Jackpot have long fur, and Banjo and Bluegrass have shorter fur. All four are friendly, curious, cuddly and playful, according to Animal Rescue volunteers. A ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted by the Tracy Chamber of Commerce today, April 20, will celebrate the opening of a new home for Animal Rescue of Tracy in the Macy’s wing of West Valley Mall. The ceremony will begin at 4 p.m., with lemonade for guests and a raffle of dog-related goodies. The nonprofit, all-volunteer rescue group has pet adoption fairs for dogs and cats from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays and noon to 4 p.m. Sundays at the mall. Members can also arrange to show

animals in rescue during the week. For information: 642-4324 or www.animalrescuetracy.org
