Boomer, a 5-month-old male pit bull mix, is looking for a home. The shelter also has an 8-month-old female shepherd mix puppy, a 7-month-old female pit mix puppy, a 1-year-old female Lhasa apso and several cats and rabbits waiting to be adopted. The staff requests donations of canned food for cats and dogs, dog treats and toys. The Tracy Animal Shelter, 370 Arbor Road, is open from noon to 5:30 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays.
