Softball: Lincoln pitching shuts down Tracy

Lincoln shut down Tracy High’s batters in a 6-2 win on Wednesday, April 18, in Stockton, as pitcher Madison Wray logged 14 strikeouts against the Bulldogs, including nine in a row over the first three innings.

Tracy was unable to score until the fourth inning.

Julia Fernandez pitched gave up six runs on eight hits over seven innings for Tracy. Ellie Fisher and Brianna Warner each had two hits.

The loss puts Tracy at 14-3 overall, 1-1 in the San Joaquin Athletic Association. Lincoln is 12-7-1 and 3-0 in the SJAA.
