Golf: West outshoots Edison

The West High golf team moved to 2-5 in the Tri-City Athletic League with a 253-298 win over Edison at Van Buskirk Golf Course in Stockton on Monday, April 16.

West’s Austin Smith led the way with a score of 41 on the par-36 course. Garrett Morris shot 49; Cody Correia, 51; Bryce Noegel, 55; Nick Carrera, 57; and Victor Villalpando, 59.

West is now 5-8 overall.
