Ms. Sanders was born May 26, 1942, in Oakland and worked more than 30 years as a vendor at Golden Gate Fields in Berkeley. She moved to Tracy eight years ago.
Survivors include her son, Doug Sanders, and his wife, Kathy, of Tracy; siblings, Woody Cantando of Walnut Creek and Louis J. Ross of San Leandro; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Visitation will be observed from noon to 5 p.m. Tuesday, April 17, at Fry Memorial Chapel, 550 S. Central Ave. All other services will be private, according to Ms. Sander’s wishes. A guest book is available online at www.frymemorialchapel.com to share messages with the family.
