The Little Black Dress Club, a social networking group for women, has founded a Tracy chapter that will make its debut with a launch party April 26, a Thursday.
Club members gather for events from happy hours to rock-climbing trips, according to CEO Christine Zellers. The group originated in Washington, D.C., and has several chapters nationwide.
Local women of any age are invited to join in and make the club their own.
The Spring Fling Affaire party, including appetizers, a raffle and an icebreaker, will be from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. April 26 at Magellan’s Restaurant, 15 E. Sixth St.
Cost is $20 for nonmembers or $15 for members who register online before the party.

YLI to meet today
Members of St. Bernard’s women’s institute will meet at 4 p.m. today, April 13, in St. Bernard’s Catholic Church’s small hall, 163 W. Eaton Ave.
Refreshments will follow a discussion of the Golden Jubilee Burse Fundraiser. All YLI members are urged to attend if possible.

St. Anthony’s Council prepares to welcome grand president
Officers of the local St. Anthony’s Council No. 5 invite members, relatives and friends to attend as Marissa Fuller, the organization’s grand president, makes her official visit to Tracy.
A no-host social hour will begin at noon Sunday, May 6, at St. Anthony’s Hall, 33 W. Seventh St., followed by lunch at 1 p.m.
Those who wish to attend should call to make reservations no later than April 24.
Lunch tickets cost $15.
