Four teenage males were taken out of a vehicle at gunpoint during a traffic stop on the 1000 block of 11th Street at 4:27 p.m. Tuesday, April 10. One of the males was reportedly seen at the Save Mart shopping center, 1950 W. 11th St., adjusting a gun in his waistband. Police located the group’s gold Ford Contour near 11th Street and Alden Glen Drive prior to making the traffic stop several blocks later. Remaining information was redacted from the log.

Tracy police received 129 calls for service Tuesday, April 10. The following is a sample of those calls.

12:02 p.m.: Parents picked up their son at Verner Hanson Park off Tennis Lane. He was wearing only a robe, and the couple told police that their son was not taking his medication.

1:16 p.m.: A 31-year-old was arrested on suspicion of assaulting her husband in central Tracy. The woman reportedly put her hand around the victim’s neck and pulled his T-shirt over his head.

2:14 p.m.: Employees at Rite Aid, 598 E. Valpico Road, reported a bottle of vodka was stolen. The store will try to enlarge a surveillance photo in an attempt to identify the license plate of a blue Toyota Tundra or Chevy pickup that was suspected to be used during the theft.

3:28 p.m.: Police arrested an unidentified person from Oakland on suspicion of shoplifting merchandise totaling $39.25 at Target, 2800 Naglee Road, in the West Valley Mall.

6:11 p.m.: Locks on a residence on the 1800 block of Maplegrove Lane were reported by the homeowner to be changed. The caller, identified as the homeowner, is reportedly in a foreclosure battle with a bank, and a person who apparently bought the home at auction was changing the locks. That person was gone when police arrived, and officers advised the caller that it was a civil matter. The woman told police that her attorney advised her to break into the home and retrieve her belongings. Without a property title to verify ownership, police advised the woman to follow the advice of her attorney.
