A string of hits gave the Falcons a victory Friday, April 6, at the Tracy Learning Center.
Both teams hit the ball well during the non-league contest, but Millennium’s 5-run second inning and three-run third made the difference in the 8-4 win.
It puts Millennium at 10-4 overall, and Vacaville Christian at 5-8.
Millennium starting pitcher Spencer Blackwell went three innings and gave up one run on the hill. Also pitching one inning each for the Falcons were Tanner Carroll, Gavin Compton, Daniel Yanez and Drew Carroll. In all, Falcon pitchers gave up 10 hits.
Millennium’s batters collected 12 hits. Jose Avila and Austin Larson had three hits each, with both smacking a double and two RBIs. Kyle Murawski singled twice and drove in one.
