Police Log: Woman reports assault

An employee at Mi Pueblo, 3225 N. Tracy Blvd., said an older man grabbed her in a sexual manner at 7:21 p.m. Thursday, April 5, and told her what he wanted to do to her before leaving. Police are investigating.

Tracy police received 187 calls for service Thursday, April 5. The following is a sample of those calls.

8:03 a.m.: A woman’s car window was smashed on the 2200 block of Clemente Lane.

8:40 a.m.: Someone is reportedly using the financial account of a woman on the 2200 block of Cabana Lane to re-route information and pass fake checks. Police are investigating.

8:49 a.m.: A 4-year-old was found sitting on a bench with a little umbrella and house keys near Monument Drive and Sycamore Parkway. Police found the boy’s father, who said he fell asleep and that the boy left the house without his knowledge. The man was advised to change his locks.

9:56 a.m.: Someone scratched an “X” into a car on the 100 block of West Seventh Street.

10:09 a.m.: A Realtor reported a vacant house was damaged by the former tenant on the 1200 block of Valencia Drive.

10:37 a.m.: Police and fire crews were called to the Best Western Motel, 811 W. Clover Road, for a possible unconscious man inside a room. The staff said they could not get the man to respond, and his grandmother said he had a medical condition. Police were given permission to ram the door, but they decided to try and make contact using a fire ladder at his second story window. He was found conscious and taken to a local hospital.

11 a.m.: Graffiti was found on the back wall of Time to Shine Auto, 599 E. 11th St.

1:44 p.m.: Vandalism was reported at Kimball High School, 3200 Jaguar Run.

2:35 p.m.: Three juveniles were seen selling perfume from a bag on the 2500 block of Naglee Road. The caller said one of them postured to fight her when she refused to make a purchase. They were gone before police arrived.

4:31 p.m.: Police arrested a 46-year-old woman after an employee at Home Depot at 2461 Naglee Road retained her. She had reportedly taken money out of the cash register.

5:45 p.m.: Four tires were taken from a front yard on the 200 block of Portola Way.

5:58 p.m.: A Tahoe was taken from Tracy Chevrolet at 3400 block of Auto Plaza Way without paying a $3,000 bill. Police are investigating.

7:41 p.m.: A show dog valued at $3,000 was reportedly taken from a yard on the 600 block of West Mount Diablo Avenue. The dog was missing from the side gate.

10:22 p.m.: Police arrested three men ages 20, 21 and 20, along with an 18-year-old woman for graffiti on a fence on the 1400 block of McDermott Court. They were all booked into San Joaquin County Jail in French Camp.
