The Jaguars took on Valley Oak League leader Oakdale on Tuesday in Oakdale, and took a 2-1 loss. The Mustangs (9-0-1, 4-0 VOL) scored two in the first inning, exploiting a couple Kimball errors and a passed ball, and driving in runs on a single and a double.

Kimball (8-4, 3-2 VOL) limited the damage with two plays at the plate, with shortstop Arianna Hawkins making a throw to catcher Taylor Honnoll, and left fielder Kate Bomar also made a play at the plate with a throw to Honnoll.
