Tracy residents Lindsy Elizabeth Stewart and Jonathan Edward Tennyson will celebrate their nuptials April 14, 2012, in Tracy.

A reception at Club Los Meganos at Trilogy at The Vineyards in Brentwood will follow the ceremony.

Jonathan proposed to Lindsy while the couple was attending a friend’s wedding in Cancun. As they walked back to their hotel, it started pouring rain, Lindsy reported, and they ran under a gazebo, where Jonathan dropped to one knee.

The bride-to-be is a 2005 graduate of Tracy High School and graduated from California State University, Stanislaus, in 2009. She works as a recreation therapist. She is the daughter of Scott and Lori Stewart of Tracy and sister to Erika Manley of Auburn, Katie Massick of Colfax, Shannon Fike of Folsom and Anna Toquida of Sacramento.

The future groom graduated from West High School in 2004 and from California State University, Fresno, in 2009, and he works as an electrician. His parents are Terry and Denise Tennyson of Tracy, and his sisters are Ashley Ramirez of Tracy and Sara Mhyre of Roseville.
