Tracy police received 158 calls for service Wednesday, March 28. The following is a sample of those calls.
9:28 a.m.: Police were called to check the welfare of a Latino man in his late teens or early 20s who was walking in the street near the intersection of Paradise and Pescadero avenues. The man was seen screaming and acting incoherent as he walked on the edge of the roadway. Police had the man transported to a mental health facility.
9:43 a.m.: Windows of a vehicle were reported busted out on the 2200 block of Gibraltar Lane. Unspecified items were taken from the vehicle.
10:18 a.m.: Multiple vehicles were reported burglarized at the Park and Ride lot, 2650 Naglee Road.
12:18 p.m.: A crowbar was reportedly used to pry open the door of a trailer on the 1800 block of Radcliff Court. The owner reported several items inside as stolen.
3:33 p.m.: Police arrested a 30-year-old man on the 200 block of Yosemite Drive for violating a court order. He allegedly was stealing food, beer and other items from the victim’s residence.
4:27 p.m.: Eight or 10 men were seen walking around looking in cars, talking loudly and allowing their dog to keep barking in Veterans Park, 238 Glenhaven Drive.
4:50 p.m.: About 10 teenagers were in a fight on the 4600 block of Monarch Lane. A group of about 20 to 30 teenagers was seen watching the fighting. The crowd was gone when police arrived.
7:29 p.m.: Two cars were racing on Naglee Road near the West Valley Mall. One car went off the road and into a roadside ditch. Both vehicles were gone when police arrived.
