Lions to celebrate St. Pat’s

The Tracy Tank Town Lions will serve their annual St. Patrick’s Day dinner this year on St. Patrick’s Day — Saturday, March 17.

The evening at Tracy Community Center, 950 East St., will begin at 5 p.m. with a no-host social hour, followed at 6 p.m. with dinner featuring corned beef and cabbage. Prize drawings will be held.

Tickets, $20 for adults and $6 for children 10 and younger, can be purchased from club members or by phoning Joy at 835-9592 or Jane at 835-1434.

Proceeds will go to Tracy Interfaith Ministries.



YLI to meet

The Young Ladies’ Institute at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church will celebrate St. Patrick’s Day during their regular meeting Friday, March 9, in the small hall at the church, 163 W. Eaton Ave. Club members are advised to wear some green. Refreshments will follow the meeting.

On March 11, YLI members will attend their annual Mass and communion at 10 a.m. Some members and guests will meet after Mass in the banquet room at Perko’s Café, 1321 W. 11th St. Reservations are required for the 11 a.m. breakfast.
