Ariel, a 7- or 8-month-old ginger tabby kitten, is ready to be adopted, as are her brothers Maverick and Hunter. All three are outgoing and friendly and thrive on attention. Rescuers report that they are playful and provide ready entertainment, but they are also content to be petted, purring for hours on end. The kittens are all spayed or neutered and current on vaccines. Animal Rescue of Tracy is a nonprofit, all-volunteer rescue group that has pet adoption fairs for dogs and cats from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays and noon to 4 p.m. Sundays at the West Valley Mall. Members will also make arrangements to show animals in rescue during the week. For information: 642-4324 or www.animalrescuetracy.org.
