Every married man should forget his mistakes. There's no use in two people remembering the same thing.

I was eleven years old in 1957. My parents hosted lots of wild, drunken parties. I figured there must be something mysteriously good about the booze in their liquor cabinet. So one fine day, left alone in the house I got a bottle from the cabinet, poured some in a glass and swallowed it in one gulp. Good thing I was standing next to the kitchen sink 'cause I vomited my guts out into the sink. Right then I knew that adults are nuts. I stayed with drinking chocolate milk till I was thirty. I'm 65 now and having my third cold beer for the afternoon. Were I honest with myself I'd admit that all alcohol tastes like crap. Nothing beats going to bed a night with a big mug of chocolate milk with a bendy-straw in it on the bedstand. And sleeping with my six rescued cats. Now that's Nirvana!
