Mary Alice Baca and Louie Gonzaga Baca, longtime Tracy residents, will gather this weekend with family and friends for a celebratory dinner marking their 60 years of marriage.

Married Jan. 28, 1952, at San Miguel Catholic Church in San Miguel, N.M., the couple had met in El Pueblo, N.M., Mary’s hometown. Both are natives of the Land of Enchantment, Louie hailing from Leyba.

The Bacas have lived in Tracy 52 years. Louie and Mary both worked for H.J. Heinz Co. and retired in 1994 after 42 and 38 years, respectively.

They raised four children together, Robert Baca, Diane Segoviano, Louie Baca Jr. and George Baca. In retirement, they spend time with their horses and cattle and enjoy visiting with their eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
