Wedding: Matthews, Louie celebrate marriage

Former Tracy resident Joey Matthews married Tiffany Louie of San Francisco at an outdoor ceremony Sept. 17, 2011, at the Hyatt Regency in Huntington Beach.

The bride is the daughter of Sid and Jessica Louie and sister of Jennifer Louie and Derek Louie, all of Arcadia, and granddaughter of Wun Kai Liu of Hong Kong. She was born in Pasadena and graduated from Arcadia High School in 2002 and University of California, Berkeley, in 2006.

The groom is the son of Bob Matthews of Tracy and Cheri O’Neil of Santa Cruz. His sister is Amanda Matthews of Portland, Ore. His grandparents are Ivan O’Neil of Montana, Tom Matthews of Tracy and Nancy Anderson Matthews of New Hampshire. Joey was born in Tracy and graduated from Tracy High School in 2002, Swarthmore College in 2006 and University of Southern California in 2007.

The couple met in 2007 while they were both working at Deloitte & Touche in San Francisco.

The bride’s attendants were Denise Chen of Irvine, Ilene Chau and Jordan Lui of San Francisco and Jennifer Louie of Arcadia. The groom’s attendants were Kaena Horowitz of Hawaii, Keyan Rahimi-Keshari of Stockton, Tony Tsai of Santa Clara and Derek Louie of Arcadia.

The wedding was officiated by Alice DeLaurier O’Neil of Tracy.

The newlyweds traveled to Tahiti and Moorea for their honeymoon and have made their home together in San Francisco. Joey works as an associate analyst for Wells Fargo Securities, and Tiffany is a manager with KKR & Co.
