A caller reported his boss was bit by a pit bull on the 2600 block of Tracy Boulevard at 5:58 p.m. He said the dog bit the man and then ran after the caller. He said he talked to the homeless man who owns the dog, who typically walks it off-leash. He said neighbors have routinely had problems involving this dog.

He was advised by Tracy police that the matter was in county territory and not inside city limits, so the sheriff’s department handled the call.
