Two local tennis players finished their season Thursday in the early rounds of the Sac-Joaquin Section Division I tournament at Brenda Athletic Club in Turlock. West High junior Emma Bell won her first match against Lincoln High’s Hannah Litton 6-4, 6-1, to move to the quarterfinals, where she faced the number-four seed Danielle Mirda of Napa. Mirda won the match 6-4, 6-3.
Tracy High junior Chiara Adamo faced the number-two seed, defending section singles champion Christiana Ferrari of St. Mary’s, in the first round. Ferrari won the match 6-0, 6-0.
Ferrari and Mirda move on to Friday’s semifinals, as do Tiffany Pham of Laguna Creek and Jacqueline Jacques of Beyer.
