Rotary Club announces crab feed

Tickets have gone on sale for Tracy Rotary Club’s annual Crab Feed on Oct. 22, a Saturday.

The fundraising event will begin at 5:30 p.m. in the Portuguese Hall, 430 W. Ninth St., with a social hour, followed by dinner featuring fresh Dungeness crab, pasta, salad, French bread and wine. Silent and live auctions are scheduled.

Tickets, $40 per person, can be purchased from Tracy Rotary Club members or at the door Oct. 22. Proceeds go to scholarships awarded annually to graduating seniors of Tracy-area high schools and for community projects.

Rummage sale moves to March

The Junior League of San Joaquin County has changed the date of its annual rummage sale, traditionally an October fixture, to March 3.

The Twice is Nice sale will feature bargains and treasures in more than 21,000 square feet at the county fairgrounds in Stockton. Donations are accepted from both individuals and businesses.
