Tanya Garcia-Will will come full circle when she opens her new salon in the spot where she first worked as a stylist when she arrived in Tracy five years ago.

Rumors on 10th is Garcia-Will’s new salon at 118A W. 10th St. in downtown. On Sept. 20, it will open in the building where the former Tangles salon once operated. Garcia-Wills started as a stylist with Tangles and then spent three years at Versailles before moving to Mira Bella, where she will works until her new spot opens.

Garcia-Will said she never thought she’d have her own salon in downtown — considering the number of salons in the area already. But she jumped at the chance to open her own shop.

“I always wanted to have my own salon in downtown. It’s great — I ended up at the salon I started at,” Garcia-Wills said.

Rumors on 10th will have 12 stylist stations, including one for owner Garcia-Will, along with an esthetician and a manicurist.

Garcia-Will said the salon will have an “edgy” look to separate it from the other salons in the area. Rumors will be open Tuesday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Friday and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The salon will have a grand opening for adult guests from 4 to 7 p.m. Sept. 25, a Sunday. There will be music, food and beverages with a raffle, from which Garcia-Will plans to donate part of the proceeds to www.WomensHeart.org, which promotes women’s heart health.

Great article, however the last sentence in the second paragraph has a grammatical error. It should read, "will work" rather than "will works."
