The body of a 30-year-old San Jose woman was found on South Philip Martin Court and Lammers Road on Tuesday, Aug. 16.

San Joaquin County Sheriff’s deputies arrived after a caller reported around 2 p.m. that day that there was an unresponsive woman on the ground. It was initially believed that the woman may have had a heart attack. Deputies reported that there were no signs of trauma or injury to the woman.

The woman, later identified as Estefana Nuño, was pronounced dead at the scene. The official cause of death will not be determined until an autopsy and toxicology tests can be conducted, said sheriff’s spokesman Les Garcia.
