Elvis will be there, along with a host of vintage autos, for the ninth annual car show sponsored by the Tracy Elks Lodge on Aug. 13, a week from Saturday.
The event will begin at 1 p.m. at the Tracy Elks Lodge on 11th Street, where cars of many eras and styles will be on display. Hot dogs will be sold during the afternoon.
A tri-tip steak dinner will be served at 5:30 p.m., followed by an appearance by Elvis.
Tickets, $20, can be reserved until Monday, Aug. 8, by calling Mike Conners, 836-0592, or Mary, 835-4413.
Camera club to meet
Tracy Camera Club members will gather at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 10, for the group’s monthly meeting on the second floor of the Grand Theatre Center for the Arts, 715 Central Ave.
The theme for August is “Negative Space,” and the rotating theme is “Journalism.” Members’ submissions will be judged and critiqued.
