Tracy police received 147 calls for service Monday, June 13. The following is a sample of those calls.
12:13 a.m.: A caller reported a woman was hit in the head by her husband in the parking lot of Comstock Card Room, 125 W. 11th St. Police checked, and no one was found in the area.
1:28 a.m.: A caller reported her friend said a man was banging at her door on the 1500 block of Lincoln Boulevard. She said she had a restraining order against the man. Police checked and found there was no violation of a court order.
1:39 a.m.: A caller reported hearing gunshots on the 100 block of Riverview Avenue. She said she thought she heard someone yell before the bang. It was believed the sound was fireworks.
3:47 a.m.: A caller reported a man and woman were in an argument near Fourth Street and Tracy Boulevard. The caller said the man was screeching his tires. Police located a teenager and provided the teen a ride home to her parents.
5 a.m.: A caller reported a man was hunched over his steering wheel at Save Mart, 875 S. Tracy Blvd. Police checked and found the man had run out of gas.
7:05 a.m.: A caller reported a car was blocking her driveway on the 2300 block of Holly Drive. She said she was able to drive over the grass to get out, but feared a problem when she returned. Police issued a citation.
7:28 a.m.: Police were called to Sutter Tracy Community Hospital, 1420 N. Tracy Blvd., for a combative stabbing victim. Police waited for a sheriff’s unit to oversee the victim, since the incident occurred in the county area.
9:28 a.m.: A caller reported his 1983 Honda Shadow was stolen from the 2700 bock of Rhett Court. He said the gas tank was missing and the engine was apart for repairs. It was last seen Friday, June 10.
9:33 a.m.: A hotel official reported someone damaged the gate entrance to Holiday Inn Express, 3751 N. Tracy Blvd.
10:33 a.m.: An online report was made for a car burglary at the Park and Ride, 2650 Naglee Road. Reported missing was the stereo, processor and a remote.
10:35 a.m.: An online report was made for a purse theft at the West Valley Mall, 3200 Naglee Road.
10:38 a.m.: An online report was made for a petty theft of a wallet and cell phones on the 200 block of East 11th Street.
10:39 a.m.: An online report was made for the theft of a backpack and college books at Tracy Rifle & Pistol, 2726 Naglee Road.
11:51 a.m.: A caller on the 100 block of Lincoln Boulevard reported a money scam after she wired money to someone claiming to be a relative.
12:14 p.m.: A caller reported seeing a young boy parking a car near Remington Way and Remington Court. The caller said the boy ran from the car. Police checked the area but were unable to find the boy or the car.
1:04 p.m.: A caller reported someone broke into his rental house on the 100 block of East Deerwood Lane.
1:11 p.m.: A caller reported a woman in a Ford Expedition hit her car while she was parked in front of Stein High School, 650 W. 10th St. She said the driver gave her a phone number, but said she didn’t have a license or insurance. Police are investigating.
2:16 p.m.: A caller reported he saw a man hit a woman in a second floor window at the Quality Inn, 3511 N. Tracy Blvd. Police checked the area, but were unable to find the couple.
3:08 p.m.: A woman called to report someone vandalized her car on the 1600 block of Lavelle Smith Drive. She said she heard the car alarm and when she went outside, she found damage to the mirror as well as scratches. Police are investigating.
3:14 p.m.: A caller reported a gas can with a box attached by wires near the entrance to Raley’s on Tracy Boulevard and Valpico Road. He said the gas can was in the middle of the road. Police picked up the can and took it to the city yard.
3:23 p.m.: A caller requested extra police patrols due to recent burglaries on the 1400 block of Harding Avenue.
4:40 p.m.: A caller reported receiving threats from her daughter’s ex-boyfriend on the 800 block of North C Street. She said the former boyfriend was threatening to blow up the house and harm her family. She said he was affiliated with a gang. Police are investigating.
5:30 p.m.: A caller reported two men taking items out of a vacant house on the 2300 block of Riviera Court. Police checked and found they were affiliated with the real estate agent.
6:20 p.m.: A caller reported someone was using his credit card information on the 1900 block of Mello Court. He said the information was being used at different locations. Police are investigating.
6:25 p.m.: A caller reported someone stole her purse on the 300 block of West Central Avenue. She said she was a caregiver for an elderly woman and she left the purse on the floor. The purse was located a short time later.
6:38 p.m.: A caller reported she was drugged and attacked by her husband in central Tracy. She said it happened on Friday, but she didn’t realize it until Sunday. She reportedly had scratches on her arms and bruises. Police are investigating.
6:49 p.m.: A tow truck driver called to report a problem with a woman not allowing him to tow a car on the 100 block of Atherton Drive. He said he had permission, but the woman refused to let him take the car. The caller canceled police a short time later after saying they resolved the problem.
7:12 p.m.: A caller reported his father was choking him on the 1800 block of Birchwood Lane. He said his father was upset over his grades and slapped him in the face. He said he did not want to press charges and the father denied hitting his 18-year-old. He told police he wanted to work things out with his father.
8:40 p.m.: A caller reported a fight in front of Rusty’s, 320 W. Grant Line Road. When asked how many people were involved, the caller hung up. A second caller said six people were fighting. Police spoke to people outside, and they said it was only a verbal argument and the people involved had left the area.
8:45 p.m.: A caller reported a foul odor coming from a recycling bin on the 900 block of Wall Street. He said the bin was extremely heavy, and it looked to be leaking blood. Police checked and found a can with dirt and water inside it.
9:27 p.m.: A caller reported a burglary on the 100 block of La Monte Lane. He said he was driving by and saw lights inside a vacant house. Police checked with the homeowner, and he said he agreed to let a family stay the night only. He said the house was in foreclosure proceedings.
9:41 p.m.: A caller reported a problem with a 13-year-old foster girl on the 1500 block of Cole Lane. She said the girl took a kitchen knife and threatened the other children in the house. The teen was last seen running upstairs with the knife. Police checked the child’s room and found no weapons. The children admitted to having an argument among themselves.
